What is Software Purchase Assistance (SPA)?
ProTaxPro.com offers Software Purchase Assistance (SPA) to eligible tax preparers who would like to purchase an Unlimited software package with $0 down.
SPA is offered in partnership with participating bank product providers, including:
- SBTPG
- EPS
- Refund Advantage
- Refundo
With Software Purchase Assistance, the cost of your ProTaxPro Unlimited software package is paid through your bank product preparation fees generated during the tax season, rather than requiring an upfront payment.
Approval Requirements
Each bank partner has its own eligibility and approval requirements. Requirements may vary by bank. We recommend contacting your preferred bank product provider directly to learn more about its specific eligibility requirements.
How to Apply
If you would like to participate in the SPA program, you must complete your bank enrollment application through your ProTaxPro.com account.
As you complete your bank enrollment, be sure to check the box indicating that you would like to apply for Software Purchase Assistance (SPA). Checking this box is required to submit your SPA request.
Once your bank enrollment is approved, your information will be reviewed for Software Purchase Assistance. If approved, your eligible ProTaxPro Unlimited software package will be added to your account, allowing you to get started for the upcoming tax season.
